Blackcurrant aromas, paprika and raw leather notes with hints of wild flowers at the end. Lots of cassis and firm leather in a rustic style. Meaty center-palate and finish where black olives and pepper outstand.

Organic Wine Practice: Viticulture and winemaking practices are strictly controlled and certified organic. Cuma means “pure and clear” in Aymará, the language of a tribe who inhabited this region of Argentina in the time of the Incas. For Michel Torino, organic practices are a way to reconnect to the land and practice ecological responsibility to benefit future generations. Only natural elements are used in the growing process: the fertilizers used in the vineyards are sheep manure, ants are controlled with diatom earth, and weeds are cut with machetes. In the winery itself, sulfur levels are lower than conventional non-organic wines. These expressive wines show flavors and tastes that are more intense, fresh and natural, and the grapes find genuine expression.
