This Weekend at Riverside
HIGH BRIDGE IS HAPPENING!!! It’s going to be a beautiful weekend, come out and enjoy the town.
Friday Evening, June 6
Riverside’s parking lot is hosting the official soap box derby registration. Come observe as 40 undamaged derby cars are weighed-in, and the 8-14 year old drivers talk smack.
And for the adults:
Senor Sangria Tasting, 5-8pm
This may be the first time we’ve ever recommended a pre-mixed drink. Call me a snob (you won’t be the first), but I tend to turn my nose up at pre-made margaritas, bloody mary mixes, and the like.
That is, until I tried Senor Sangria. I don’t kjnow if it’s the all-natural juices, the Chilean/Upstate NY pedigree, or what. But this stuff is good. Stop in for a taste, pick up a bottle, and head straight for Casa Maya.
See details below. As always, wines featured in the tasting are 15% off all week.
Saturday, June 7, 9am-12pm
Come cheer on the kids, and stop by Riverside for complementary cup of draft birch beer.
According to the Borough’s website, “food will be available and there will be a face painter for kids of all ages!
Please remember: Main Street will be close at approximately 7 a.m., so please plan accordingly.”
Can’t make it to the tasting? Don’t worry, stop by anytime this week and take advantage of the 15% discount on these wines.
