For a long time now, I have been talking about the Little Penguin Wines to any Yellow Tail connoisseur who will listen. Second label from famed Rosemount Estates, the Little Penguin portfolio is perfect for someone who is looking to get out of the boring everyday wine rut. I pick on Yellow Tail from time to time, not because I think it's not a great wine, but that they spend so much money on advertising and branding, that what the consumer ends up with is one dollar wine in an eight dollar package. If you are a fan of Australian Shiraz, Cabernet or Chardonnay, the Little Penguin is a must try. I personally use the Shiraz-Cabernet blend anytime we throw a party, and have actually taken quite a liking to the Merlot with Italian cuisine.
