Dear Friends,

I am writing to re-introduce myself and let you know that I have taken over complete management of my web-site, www.RiversideWines.com. I look forward to getting to know each of your individual palates as I have done for the past 25 years with every customer who has walked into my wine store in High Bridge, New Jersey.

The upside of decades of wine retail experience is.. experience. I've been around long enough to be considered somewhat of an iconic old-timer in this industry. Time also reveals character. I thank my folks for having instilled in me the knowledge to differentiate my elbow from other parts of my anatomy, as well as a moral code.

The downside of the internet is that you never know if your "wine expert" is a Saint Bernard, a cut-n-paste-geek, or a geek that looks like a St. Bernard. (I happen to be very fond of St. Bernards and geeks.) While I am an animal lover, I even managed to get accepted to veterinary college, I assure you I am no dog. I wish the same could be said for some of my poor hiring choices but I believe in learning the lessons and moving forward doing the next right thing.

I am enjoying the challenge of managing my global store with the same integrity and customer service with which I run my physical store. Wine is not a social class, nor an academic degree. You know best what you like. I believe my job is to translate your preferences into a wine you will enjoy. I'm basically a Jersey boy who loves to de-mystify wine for folks while unabashedly maintaining the romance... I have been passionate about wine ever since my Italian grandfather showed me how he made his own when I was just a kid. I have tasted every wine in my physical store and have never sold anything I wouldn't be happy to share with my wife, Yong. While I cannot say I have tasted every wine in our website inventory, I can say that I am happy to share my knowledge and expertise with you. Few have been disappointed (and I hope to make it up to them.)

I hope my global level of service will give you a village feel and complete satisfaction. As all ex-wrestlers know, we never give-up. (This is very challenging since my wife is a tenacious sword-wielding diva!) But that's another story, best told with wine...
